Social Media Comments Policy

 

By posting on ILF’s website (blog), Twitter, and/or Facebook, you agree to the following:

  1. You may comment without registering. You can log in via Twitter or Facebook or not at all via ILF’s website (blog): www.transformingleadership.com .
  2. You may post follow-up questions. If you have a question, you are probably not alone. ILF encourages your comments on Twitter, Facebook and on its website blog.
  3. You may disagree with ILF. ILF welcomes debate. However, if you disagree with the views of ILF, kindly do so in a manner that is respectful.
  4. ILF reserves the right to delete your comments. ILF owns the rights to the content on its Twitter and Facebook pages, as well as its website (blog). ILF is not obligated to publish your comments. Specifically, ILF disallows and will delete your comments if you post something that is (in ILF’s sole discretion),

rudely critical in tone;

off-topic;

libelous, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, profane, pornographic, offensive, false, misleading, or which otherwise violates or encourages others to violate ILF’s sense of decorum and civility or any law, including intellectual property laws;

violates the privacy rights or the intellectual property rights of any person; or

“spam,” i.e., an attempt to advertise, solicit, or otherwise promote goods and services. You may, however, post a link to your site or your most recent blog post.

5. You retain ownership of your comments. ILF does not own your comments and expressly disclaims any and all liability that may result from them. By commenting on ILF’s Twitter, Facebook and/or website, you agree that you retain all ownership rights in what you post here and that you will defend ILF from any and all liability that may result from those postings.

6. You grant ILF a license to post your comments. This license is worldwide, irrevocable, nonexclusive, and royalty free. You grant ILF the right to store, use, transmit, display, publish, reproduce, and distribute your comments in any format, including but not limited to a blog, in a book, a video, or presentation.
